Why maintain the pneumatic tools

Confucius, a Chinese sage, said, "If a worker wants to do his job well, he must first sharpen his tools." To complete the task of processing and assembling, we must first use our own tools. However, pneumatic tools can not only be used without maintenance, which will reduce their service life. So let's talk about the maintenance of pneumatic tools.

1. When using pneumatic tools according to safety regulations, be sure to read the supporting instruction manual. Only after you have fully understood the contents can you use pneumatic tools in the workplace, and strictly follow the instruction manual.

2. Precautions


(1) Never point tools at yourself or others.

(2) The air compressor pipe shall not be impacted or damaged.

(3) When replacing accessories and tools, please remove the pneumatic tools from the air source.

(4) Please wear work clothes and do not wear loose clothes during operation to avoid danger caused by being involved by moving parts.

(5) During operation, try to wear safety goggles, masks, etc. to maintain your own safety.

(6) When connecting the high-pressure air source and pneumatic tools, do not press the machine when it is not in use.

(7) Loose parts may bring you danger, please ensure safety at all times.

(8) Please replace worn parts with special parts.

(9) Lock all screws to ensure the safety of the equipment before use.



3. Maintenance


(1) Pneumatic tools need to be lubricated before and after use.

(2) The air motor should be lubricated every day, but not too many times.

(3) Do not remove parts that do not need to be repaired during disassembly.

(4) Be careful during disassembly to avoid damage to parts.

(5) Keep the tools clean during disassembly to prevent sundries from entering.


4. Notice


1. Please unplug the tool from the air source in the high-pressure area before lubrication.


(1) Remove the tool from the high-pressure area.

(2) Press the trigger and add 3~5c from the air inlet C. Special oil for pneumatic tools. Connect the tool to the high-pressure air source, and put rags or towels on the exhaust hole cover. Start the tool, forward and reverse for 20~30 seconds respectively. When the high-pressure gas is connected for operation, the lubricating oil will be discharged from the rear exhaust hole.


2. The lubrication (grease) of the impact frame assembly shall be lubricated and maintained once a week.

(1) Pull the tool off the air line.

(2) Remove the screws on the front cover (or directly loosen the front cover) and wash the residual butter in the front cover and on the impact frame assembly.

(3) Apply proper amount of butter on the impact frame assembly, and then lock the front cover.

(4) Connect the air pressure pipe, gently start the trigger to idle for 20~30 seconds, and let the whole impact unit be lubricated with grease.
