Introduction to correct use of pneumatic tool torque wrench
Pneumatic tool torque wrench is a torque wrench with high-pressure air pump as the power source. It is a torque multiplier with three or more layers of revolving gears driven by one or two powerful pneumatic motors. Torque is controlled by adjusting the gas pressure. In order to allow specific torque demand setting, each tool is equipped with a special air pressure comparison chart and calibration report for torque. For further application, the pneumatic tool torque wrench can be matched with the torque sensor at the same time, so that the output torque is more accurate. After obtaining the required torque, use the appropriate loop system to manually or automatically shut down the air supply. 1、 Correct use of pneumatic tool torque wrench 1. The process and structure of applying torque of the pneumatic tool torque wrench: when applying torque with the torque wrench, connect the nut/bolt that needs to apply torque through the sleeve firmly connected with the ratchet head of the torque wrench, hold the effective scale line on the handle of the torque wrench with the palm of the hand, and apply the force clockwise or counterclockwise. This force drives the nut/bolt. When the nut/bolt is tightened and the torque is equal to the torque set by the torque wrench, The ratchet of the torque wrench drives the head of the torque wrench to transmit the torque to the trigger, and the trigger slides to the right (force release). When the roller touches the pipe, it will send out a "click" signal. After hearing the signal, stop the force application immediately, take down the torque wrench, and complete the torque application process. 2. There are roughly two ways to adjust the set value of pneumatic tool torque wrench: First, it belongs to the adjustment method of the pre-adjusted torque wrench. Loosen the rear lock clamp, and rotate the auxiliary indexing wheel at the rear according to the required setting value (increase the torque clockwise and decrease the torque counterclockwise to make the scale of the indexing wheel match the setting value of the torque wrench, and calibrate the torque wrench calibrator. The second is the adjustment of fixed value torque wrench. Loosen the rear cover, loosen the locking screw with the corresponding hex key, set a torque value by rotating the push ring with the adjusting tool, check the torque with the torque tester, tighten the locking screw, and lock the rear cover. 3. Use method of torque wrench: when applying torque, hold the hand at the middle scale of the torque wrench handle. The square head is firmly connected with the socket, nut/bolt (for the open/ring series torque wrench, the open/ring head should be fully inserted/sunk into the nut). The force can only be applied in the direction marked on the torque wrench, and the force application direction should be within ± 15 degrees (horizontal and vertical). The force shall be applied slowly and steadily, and the impact force shall be avoided. Stop immediately when you hear the "click" sound. 3、 Selection of torque wrench for pneumatic tools 1. The following factors should be considered when selecting torque wrench (1) The selection of torque wrench should be based on the set torque value, which should be 1/2~2/3 of the range of use of torque wrench (2) The operating space shall be within the effective length of the torque wrench. (3) If the above two points are met, the torque wrench with light weight shall be selected to reduce the labor intensity of workers. 4、 Maintenance of pneumatic tool torque wrench After the torque wrench has been used for a long time, due to the unsatisfactory working environment, dust, humidity and other reasons, the frequent use of the torque wrench causes the wear of internal parts, resulting in the unstable indication of the torque wrench. Therefore, regular maintenance of torque wrench is helpful to the working state of torque wrench.
